On Thursday 25th April, 56 pupils from Years 7 and 8 took part in the UK Maths Trust Junior Maths Challenge, where hundreds of thousands of children across the UK take part in this competition each year.
10 of our pupils were in the top 50% in the competition, receiving a Bronze Certificate. An additional four were in the top 25% and received a Silver Certificate. This is an incredible achievement for our pupils at Atherton High School and we look forward to seeing more successes next year’s challenges!!! Well done everybody!!!
