Our Year 7 students travelled to Ingleton Waterfall Walk in the Yorkshire Dales and completed a four-mile walk around the picturesque surroundings to gain first-hand experience of geographical landforms such as rivers, tributaries, waterfalls, basins, flood plains and the way that the water carves valleys into the landscape. In addition, a healthy and exciting adventure in the fresh air was had by all, with urban life firmly behind us for the day, we could experience the wonders of nature and the English countryside.
