ATSA Basketball Competition

Monday 13th November saw Atherton High School host the ATSA Basketball Competition. Nine primary schools attended the event, competing in two separate groups with the winners facing each other in the final. Year 10 Sports Science pupils Saldemiro and Goncalo supported the event by umpiring the games. Both pupils demonstrated excellent knowledge and enthusiasm for basketball, consistently applying the rules during the games. Esme also volunteered to help out by collecting in the scores and keeping track of the results. Overall, it was fantastic to see so many young people enjoying competing and representing their school. In a close final it was Holy Family that ended the night as winners.
