Some of our Y10 pupils who have expressed interest in careers in Legal and Finance had the opportunity to visit the offices of KPMG in central Manchester today. They learned about the different study routes in to careers in business management and accountancy as well as receiving an insight into the different projects that KPMG manage for clients in industries such as the healthcare , retail, aerospace and pharmaceuticals. The pupils were then assigned a project management task which they then presented to KPMG employees and other stakeholders. Whilst very nervous at presenting to a room full of people in one of the most prestigious head offices in Manchester, all pupils spoke articulately and clearly and impressed with their creative solutions to the task
