A group of Year 7 and 8 pupils were selected to represent Atherton High School at the Wigan Schools KS3 and KS4 Ten-pin bowling Panathalon competition, held at Hollywood Bowl in Wigan. Panathlon is a national charity which gives young people with disabilities and special educational needs every year the opportunity to take part in competitive sport. Our pupils produced some stunning bowling across the ten rounds of competition, securing a number of spares, with outstanding performances across the board from all pupils, most notably for the Year 7 team, Evie Grace Grimshaw-Neal and for the Year 8 team, Ethan Whittle. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were a real credit to the school, demonstrating our school values of respect, responsibility and ambition in abundance.
